Evaluation of the Induction Task: Change of Hands.

The aim of our induction task was for us to meet a brief stating that we needed to maintain continuity whilst creating a very short film only lasted a few minutes which contained 20 different types of shots and a package changing hands.
After viewing our final product, I have come to the conclusion that we managed to meet the criteria asked of us with only a few errors remaining, and I feel confident that I would be able to avoid these issues reoccurring in our next project after this experience. Our main issue was clothing, which could possibly have messed with our task of keeping continuity due to the fact we filmed over the course of three days, and did not think about the people we were filming’s different clothing choices on each of those days. Luckily, this didn’t impact our work too much as after the first time we filmed and went to start back up again we realized and requested that everyone wear the same or similar clothing so that viewers of our work wouldn’t pick up on it.

Overall, I believe that we met the requirements of our task, from maintaining continuity where possible and creating a small story including a package changing hands.
